Basic Eggless Vanilla cake

Basic Eggless Vanilla cake tastes delicious and melts in mouth. If you use right proportion of ingredients your cake will turn out great !!!!! So lets make Vanilla cake



  • All purpose flour- 1/2 cup
  • Butter(unsalted)- 60 ml or 1/3 cup
  • Yogurt- 75 ml or 4 tablespoons
  • Vanilla essence- 1 teaspoon
  • Condensed milk- 150 grams
  • Baking soda- 1/4 teaspoon
  • Baking powder- 1/2 teaspoon

  8. In another bowl add sieve together flour, baking soda and baking powderbasic vanilla cake step 08.jpg
  9. Lightly mix them together. Don’t over mix it otherwise it will lose its lightness and cake would not be fluffy. See to it that there are no lumps formed.basic vanilla cake step 10
  10. Grease the cake tin with butter and flour. i have used small cake tin which is of 7 inches.basic vanilla cake step 11
  11. Add the cake mixture and bake this in a preheated oven for 30 mins at 180 degress

  13. check in between whether the cake is done or not. Insert tooth pick in centre, if it comes out clean your cake is readybasic vanilla cake step 13.jpg

Chocolate cupcakes 

Soft , moist cupcakes is a perfect snack that ev. yone loves to eat. Homemade cupcakes are more fresh and delicious, you would never like to buy them from market. It can be eaten anytime but its best to have them with tea or coffee. 😀

Ingredients :- 

  • Plain flour – 350 gm
  • Castor sugar- 350 gms
  • Cocoa powder- 60 gms 
  • Baking soda – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt – 1/2 tablespoon 
  • Chocolate syrup- 2/3 cups 
  • Buttermilk- 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence- 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs – 3

Method of making chocolate cupcakes :-




  •  In a bowl seive the flour, castor sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Wisk them together and keep it aside

  • In another bowl, add the vegetable oil , buttermilk, vanilla essence. Now add eggs one by one mixing them alternately . 
  •  Now add the dry ingredients in this bowl
  • Mix them together until the mixture is smooth. 
  • Now fill the cupcake tray until two-third full and bake them in a preheated oven for 20- 25 mins at 180 degress cencius. 

 If the toothpeak inserted in the middle of the cupcake comes out clean, it means the cupcakes are ready. If not, bake them for another 5 mins 

Let the cupcakes cool for another 10-20 mins. Serve them
